What happened to OC Waxing?
Nothing you loved went away. In 2022, we rebranded OC Waxing (also known as OC Wax and OC Waxing and Aesthetics) as Bare Waxing and Laser. Our owner, our training, and our processes are all the same. We simply grew our menu beyond waxing, so we grew our name to match.

A note from Carolyn
Hi, I'm Carolyn, and I started OC Waxing.
I'm an esthetician, and I built this business one client at a time. Waxing has always been the heart of what we do, and it always will be.
Then COVID gave me something I hadn't had in years: time to think. I looked at what our clients were asking for and where I wanted to take us. I realized hair removal is so much bigger than wax. Our clients wanted options, and they deserved a team that could guide them to the right one for their skin, their hair, and their goals.
So we expanded. We added sugaring, laser hair removal, dermaplaning, tinting, and microneedling. Our old name didn't fit anymore, so in 2022 we became Bare Waxing and Laser.
I want to be clear about one thing: this is still me. I'm still the owner. The people, the training, and the care you trust are the same as they've always been. We just have a new name and a bigger vision.
I started this business at the ripe age of 25. Now, 18 years later, it makes me so grateful to still see tons of my original clients walk through our doors. I love you guys!

The Wax Company USA
We still have our passion project: The Wax Company USA, Carolyn's other company. It's where we make our custom wax formulations, along with our retail line, sold exclusively at Bare.
Every product is formulated with no yucky parabens, no sulfates, and nothing bad.
