In case I haven’t met you yet, I’m Carolyn, Licensed Esthetician and the heart behind the brand of OC Waxing. Does anyone remember the cozy little back room of a pilates studio I started in back in 2008 as OC Waxing? That teenie spot was the pioneer in OC focusing solely on waxing, a unique niche in hair removal services that grew super quick.

Always growth-minded, I expanded OC Waxing to 5 locations over a decade, and then came the year of 2020. Well that was a year for reflection and big dreams to say the least. Amidst the quiet, an idea sparked: why limit ourselves? Why not offer all forms of hair removal? That’s when the vision broadened, and the concept of creating an inclusive destination for everyone’s hair removal needs took shape.

Transitioning this waxing passion into a Medical Practice was a journey in itself, but let’s keep it light and say: I’m beyond thrilled. It feels like I’m in 2008 again, trailblazing a path that’s yet to be explored in the hair removal industry.

Our passion for waxing and amazing service hasn’t changed, but our service menu has expanded. With the best lasers and our fantastic team of Removal Specialists, we’re here to cater to every individual’s preferred method of hair removal by way of waxing, sugaring and laser hair removal.

We’ve rebranded from OC Waxing to Bare Waxing and Laser to mirror this all-encompassing vision. However, our core – the love and care that fueled our growth for 15 years – remains unchanged.
