Dermaplaning is a gentle, non-invasive exfoliation treatment that removes dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (peach fuzz) from the surface of the skin using a sterile, medical-grade blade. This treatment instantly leaves skin smoother, brighter, and more even in tone, while helping skincare products absorb better and makeup apply flawlessly. Dermaplaning does not make hair grow back thicker or darker and is safe for most skin types when performed correctly.
Who should not receive dermaplaning:
Dermaplaning is not recommended for anyone with active acne, inflamed breakouts, cystic acne, open lesions, cold sores, or skin infections. It should also be avoided if you have eczema, psoriasis, rosacea flare-ups, sunburn, compromised skin barrier, or are currently using prescription exfoliating medications such as Accutane or topical retinoids within the required waiting period. If your skin is irritated, sensitized, or healing from recent laser treatments, chemical peels, or aggressive exfoliation, this service may not be appropriate at this time.
